- Habit
- Procumbent to decumbent, weak-stemmed, perennial rarely more than 20 cm. tall; stems glabrous, rooting at the lower nodes.

- Leaves spirally arranged; petiole (0.3–)0.9–4 cm. long, slender; lamina ovate-rhombic, (1.2–)1.8–4.5 cm. long, (0.9–)1.2–4 cm. broad, the base ± truncate, the apex acuminate, acute, glabrous beneath but with a few hairs on the midrib and lateral veins above; lateral veins 3–5 pairs; margin crenate-serrate.

- Inflorescence a 3–4-flowered pseudoumbellate raceme; flowers white or pale pink.

- Peduncle 1.9–3.5 cm. long, slender, glabrous.

- Bracts subulate, 2–3 mm. long.

- Pedicels 8–15 mm. long, slender, patent but becoming pendent in fruit.
- Calyx
- Lateral sepals linear-lanceolate, ± 2 mm. long, acute. Lower sepal shallowly navicular, 3–4 mm. long, abruptly constricted into a 7–9 mm. long curved filiform spur, glabrous.

- Dorsal petal ± 3.5–4 mm. long and 3 mm. broad, semi-cucullate, dorsally with a narrow crest terminating in a short acute point. Lateral united petals 7–8 mm. long; upper petal of each pair narrow oblong-reniform, 3–4 mm. long, 1–1.5 mm. broad; lower petal of each pair transversely.semi-elliptic or oblong, 3–3.5 mm. long, 1.5–2 mm. broad, distally drawn out into a 3–3.5 × 0.75–1 mm. ligulate appendage.
