Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms 100-300 cm long. Ligule an eciliate membrane. Leaf-blades inverted; lanceolate; 20-45 cm long; 15-25 mm wide. Leaf-blade venation slanting obliquely from midrib; with distinct cross veins.
