    Habit
    Plants 20-90 cm.

    Bulb 1-4 cm. in diameter, occasionally bulbiliferous.
    Leaves
    Leaves 2-7, base free, linear, up to 75 cm. long, 3-9 mm. broad, smooth.
    Scape
    Scapes 1-3, smooth.
    Inflorescences
    Raceme with 4-15 flowers; pedicels smooth, 3-9 mm., up to 11 mm. in fruit; bracts linear or lanceolate to ovate, 4-15 mm., acuminate.

    Flowers yellow-green, green to brown.
    Perianth
    Perianth-segments 10-15 mm., without caudate appendages.

    Filaments 5-7 mm.
