    Habit
    A pendulous or erect epiphytic plant to 35 cm. or more long.
    Stem
    Stems (or pseudobulbs) caespitose, terete, to 25 cm. long, 1 mm. wide, secondary and tertiary stems given off from apical half of older growths, 2–9 cm. long, 1 mm. wide, all covered in scarious tubular sheaths and leaf bases, 5–8-leaved in apical half.
    Leaves
    Leaves linear, grass-like, acute, flexuous, 5–11 cm. long, 2–3.5 mm. wide.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescence unbranched, much shorter than the leaves, 4–8-flowered, 1.5–3 cm. long; bracts lanceolate, long- acuminate, 1.5–2.5 mm. long.
    Flowers
    Flowers suberect, white, greenish yellow or yellow, with a yellow or purple lip.
    Calyx
    Dorsal sepal ovate, acuminate, cucullate, 3–5 mm. long, 2 mm. wide; lateral sepals very obliquely ovate, acuminate, 6.8–9.5 mm. long (along longest margin), 4–5.5 mm. wide, forming with the column-foot a shortly and broadly cylindrical mentum 4–5.2 mm. long.
    Corolla
    Petals linear to oblong-elliptic, 2.7–3.5 mm. long, 0.8–1.1 mm. wide, acute.
    Labellum
    Lip with a long claw, obscurely 3-lobed in apical half, 6.5 mm. long, 4 mm. wide; side lobes erect, narrowly oblong, rounded at apex; mid-lobe much larger than side lobes, broadly ovate to orbicular, apiculate; claw pubescent; callus a fleshy transverse ridge between side lobes, sometimes sparsely pubescent.

    Column short, fleshy, subterete, truncate, 2 mm. long; foot slightly curved, 4 mm. long, long-pubescent within.
    Habitat
    Epiphyte in dense forest and at forest margins; 1000–2000 m.

    Habit
    Erect or pendulous epiphytic herb, often forming large clumps.
    Pseudobulbs
    Pseudobulbs few to numerous, superposed, the new ones arising from apical half of the pseudobulb produced in the previous season, often hanging in long chains; each pseudobulb up to 20 cm long, 1–2 mm wide, narrowly cylindrical with several nodes, covered in scarious sheaths, 5–8-leaved.
    Leaves
    Leaves 5–11 cm × 2–5 mm, linear, grass-like, bright green, slightly 2-lobed at the apex.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescence (floral axis) 1–3 cm long, overtopped by the leaves, 3–8-flowered.
    Pedicel and Ovary
    Pedicel and ovary 4 mm long, arched.
    Bracts
    Bracts 1.5–2.5 mm long, narrowly lanceolate, long acuminate.
    Flowers
    Flowers creamy-white with a yellow lip, primrose-scented.
    Calyx
    Dorsal sepal 3–5 × 2–2.5 mm, ovate, acuminate; lateral sepals 6.8–9.5 × 4–5.5 mm, obliquely ovate, acuminate; mentum 3–5 mm high, cylindrical.
    Corolla
    Petals 3–3.5 × 1–1.5 mm, linear to oblanceolate, acute.
    Labellum
    Lip fleshy, slightly recurved, 4.5–6.5 × 3–4 mm, with a long claw, 3-lobed in the apical half; mid-lobe c. 4 × 3 mm, broadly ovate, apiculate; side lobes erect, oblong; callus a fleshy, sometimes pubescent, transverse ridge between the side lobes.
    Column
    Column 2.5–2 mm long.
