    Leaves
    Leaves simple, sessile (apart from pulvinus), estipulate; leaflet 10–35 × 1–2.5 mm, linear to linear-oblanceolate, tapered to the apex, ± involute.
    Inflorescences
    Racemes 2–10 cm long, terminal on mostly relatively short lateral branches, lax, 4–12-flowered; bracts 1–2 mm long, linear-subulate, evanescent; pedicel 1–2 mm long; bracteoles on the pedicel, slightly smaller than the bract.
    Hypanthium
    Hypanthium 2–3 mm long, obconic; calyx 4–5 mm long; lobes 1–1.5 mm long, triangular-deltoid, all similar.
    Corolla
    Standard yellow lined purplish, pubescent outside; wings shorter than the keel; keel 10–12 mm long, oblong-falcate, shortly hairy.
    Fruits
    Pod 20–30 × 3 mm, linear-oblong, pointed, continuous over the seeds (slightly turgid), 6–8-seeded.
    Seeds
    Seeds 3 × 1.5 mm, oblong-reniform.
    Habit
    Shrub 1–2 m tall, virgate, sometimes becoming rounded and rather spreading; whole plant densely covered in very short, appressed to slightly spreading silvery-grey hairs.
