    Habit
    Herb up to 75 cm long, erect, terminally twining, single- or few-stemmed, with white latex.
    Tubers
    Tuber ovoid to flattened-globose, up to 10 cm diameter.

    Leaves sessile; blade linear to very narrowly ovate, (5–)12–15(–20) × (0.4–)0.88–1(–2.2) cm, attenuate, base tapering, often involute, above green, puberulent, beneath pale green, puberulent, midvein prominent, whitish, secondary veins looping

    Inflorescences axillary and terminal, fascicles 5–10-flowered, puberulous.

    Peduncles 2–10 mm long.
