    General Description

    Plante terrestre ou lithophyte. Feuilles au nombre de 3 a 5, vert-gris, tessellees de vert fonce a l'avers, vert clair au revers, elliptiques-oblongues, obtuses ou tridenticulees a l'apex, de 11 - 14 cm de long et 3,1 - 3,4 cm de large. Inflorescence uniflore, erigee, couverte de poils bruns et courts, de 30 - 35 cm de long. Bractee condupliquee, verte, parfois ombree de brun a la base, couverte d'une fine pilosite blanche sur les marges, elliptique-oblongue, aigue a l'apex, de 2,4 - 2,6 cm de long et 1 - 1,2 cm de large. Pedicelle et ovaire marron fonce, couverts d'une courte pilosite marron, de 5,8 - 6,2 cm de long. Fleur de 9 - 9,5 cm de large. Sepale dorsal et synsepale verdatres, stries de vert plus fonce; petales verdatres, legerement stries de vert, ombres de brun a la base, taches de marron sur toute la surface, petites taches plus dispersees a l'apex; labelle a lobe central vert clair a I'apex, ombre et veine de brun, a lobes lateraux vert clair, parcourus de verrucosites brun pale; staminode vert et brun pale, fortement reticule de brun et de vert au centre; indentations vert fonce au centre sur la marge inferieure du staminode. Sepale dorsal legerement concave, ovale, aigu ou courtement acumine, a marges incurvees a l'apex, couvert d'une fine pilosite courte et blanche sur la face extreme, de 3,8 - 4,3 cm de long et 3,4 - 3,6 cm de large. Synsepale oblanceole, concave, cilie sur la face exteme, bifide a l'apex de 3,3 - 3,7 cm de long et 1,5 - 1,7 cm de large. Petales oblongs, subhorizontaux ou formant un angle de 15 - 20° au dessus de l'horizontale, recurves, parcourus sur les marges de poils courts et brun-pourpre, plus densement cilies sur les marges a l'apex, couverts de poils pourpres a la base sur la face interne, aigus a l'apex, de 4,5 - 4,8 cm de long et 1,5 - 1,7 cm de large. Labelle trilobe, en forme de casque inverse, arrondi a l'apex, de 3,8 - 4 cm de long et 2,6 - 2,8 cm de large; lobes lateraux verruqueux et replies sous le staminode. Staminode convexe, subcirculaire a reniforme, couvert d'une courte pilosite blanche, de 0,9 cm de long et 1 cm de large, partage en 2 lobes arques et arrondis a l'apex, separes a la base par une petite encoche de 2 mm de profondeur; marge inferieure du staminode en arc de cercle, sinueeondulee avec de petites indentations au centre.


    Plant terrestrial or lithophytic. Leaves numbering 3 to 5, grey-green, tessellated, dark green, light green on the back, oblong-elliptic, apex obtuse or tridenticulate, 11 to 14 cm long and 3.1 to 3.4 cm wide. Uni-flowered inflorescence, erect, covered with brown short hairs, 30 - 35 cm long. Bract conduplicate, green, sometimes marked with brown at the base, covered with fine white pilose hairs on the margins, elliptic-oblong, acute at the apex, from 2.4 to 2.6 cm long and 1 to 1.2 cm wide. Pedicel and ovary dark brown, covered with short brown pilose hairs, 5.8 to 6.2 cm long. Flower 9 to 9.5 cm wide. Dorsal sepal and synsepal greenish, striped with darker green, greenish petals, with slight streaks of green, shaded with brown at the base, spotted with brown across the surface, small spots dispersed at the apex; labellum central lobe light green to the apex, shaded and veined in dark brown, lateral lobes light green, covered in pale brown warts; staminode green and pale brown, strongly reticulated, with brown and green center, dark green indentations in the center of the lower margin of staminode. Dorsal sepal slightly concave, oval, acute or shortly acuminate, margins incurved to the apex, covered with thin short white pilose hairs on the external surface, 3.8 to 4.3 cm long and 3.4 - 3.6 cm wide. Synsepal oblanceolate, concave, ciliate on the opposite extreme, bifid at the apex, 3.3 to 3.7 cm long and 1.5 to 1.7 cm wide. Petals oblong, sub-horizontal or an angle of 15 to 20° above the horizontal, recurved, patterned on the margins with short purple-brown hair, more densely ciliates at the apex, hairy purple at the base on the inside, acute apex, from 4.5 to 4.8 cm long and 1.5 to 1.7 cm wide. Labellum trilobed, inverse helmet-shaped, rounded apex, 3.8 - 4 cm long and 2.6 to 2.8 cm wide lateral lobes warty and replies in the staminode. Staminode convex, subcircular to reniform, covered with short white pilose hairs, 0.9 cm long and 1 cm wide, divided into two lobes,  arched and rounded to the apex, the base separated by a small notch of 2 mm in depth of the lower margin staminode arcuate, sinuate-undulate with small indentations in the center.
