A slender glabrous sparsely spinose shrub with grey bark.

Fruit sessile, ovoid, ± 8 mm. long, including a 2 mm. beak, ± 0.7 mm. wide; pericarp 2-valved; pseudaril with 4 narrow arms ± 3/5 as long as the stone, which is smooth, white, ovoid, trigonous, ± 6 mm. long and 6 mm. wide, the fertile and sterile locules apt to separate (this and the colour of the stone suggests that the fruit dissected may have been immature).
