Morphology General Habit
Stems procumbent to weakly ascending, diffuse, generally glabrous or with one or two rows of hairs.

Leaves all distinctly petiolate; blades ovate to broadly ovate, acute, shortly apiculate, more or less cordate at the base, varying considerably in size, from 3 mm. long and 3 mm. broad to 18 mm. long and 14 mm. broad, midrib and main veins fairly conspicuous, the latter anastomosing near the margin, glabrous or with a few scattered hairs; petioles 0.3–1.7 cm. long, pilose near the base and with scattered hairs or glabrous in the upper part.

Morphology General Habit
Tender herb with procumbent or weakly ascending stems up to c. 40 cm. long; internodes glabrous or with 1–2 lines of hairs.

Leaves all petiolate; lamina 0·3–1·8 × 0·3–1·4 cm., ovate to broadly ovate, apex acute, shortly apiculate, base ± cordate, glabrous or with a few scattered hairs, midrib and main veins fairly conspicuous, the latter anastomosing near the margin and producing a submarginal nerve, petiole up to 1·7 cm. long, pilose near the base, glabrescent above.
