    Diagnostic
    Exactly similar to M. elegans, although sometimes apparently more shrubby, but the leaves with the same close raised reticulation beneath but indumentum within the areoles stuck together with glandular secretion, the surfaces having a viscid appearance.
    Habitat
    Brachystegia woodland; 1395–1680(–1800) m.
    Distribution
    distribution elsewhere uncertain but apparently endemic T5 T7
