    Habit
    Very close to A. venosum, but differing chiefly in the leaves being glabrous (except along the nerves), and densely reticulately nerved with the nervation fine and reddening after drying; also differing in the disk glands of male flowers being interstaminal and free or extrastaminal and connate, and in the styles either terminal or lateral.
