Morphology Reproductive morphology Inflorescences
Inflorescence 2-flowered; peduncle (l–)3–25 cm. long, pilose or glandular, rarely glabrous; pedicels 1–8 cm. long; bracts narrowly lanceolate, 3–15 mm. long, pubescent.
Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Calyx
Sepals elliptic-lanceolate, 6–8 mm. long, 2–3 mm. wide, cuspidate, 3-nerved, pubescent, pilose or glandular on the outer surface, glabrous on the inner surface, red and greenish in colour.
Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Corolla
Petals broadly spathulate, 10–12 mm. long, 5–7 mm. wide, obtuse, pink or mauve, rarely white, clearly nerved.
