    Habit
    Subshrub, up to 3 ft. high, very similar to B. ruellioides (No. 6), but easily distinguishable by its indumentum
    Flowers
    Flowers handsome violet with a narrow corolla-tube up to 3/4 in. long

    Corolla if fully opened, saucer-shaped, 3/4 in. across

    Preferably in shady places(Jac.-Fél.).
