    Stems slender, glabrous or sparsely to densely pilose.
    Leaves
    Leaflets 3, paler beneath, elliptic or elliptic-ovate, 1·8–7·5 cm. long, 0·8–3·5 cm. wide, obtuse or slightly emarginate at the apex, rounded at the base, glabrous above, densely velvety or very shortly and sparsely adpressed pilose beneath and with minute scale-like hairs as well; petiole 1·5–4·5 cm. long; rhachis 0· 6–1·8 cm. long; petiolules 1–2·5 mm. long; stipules oblong-ovate or rhomboid, 3·5 mm. long, 2 mm. wide.

    Inflorescences 1–4-flowered, axillary; peduncles 1·8–11 cm. long; pedicels 2–3 mm. long; bracts ovate, 2 mm. long, ribbed; bracteoles ovate-lanceolate, 6–5 mm. long, 2 mm. wide.
    Calyx
    Calyx minutely puberulous to densely covered with ferruginous hairs; tube 1·2 cm. long; lobes narrowly triangular, 6–9 mm. long, 3–4 mm. wide, ciliate or hairy, the upper pair joined only at the base.
    Corolla
    Standard cream, obovate, 3–4 cm. long, 2·6 cm. wide, excessively finely puberulous but appearing glabrous.
    Fruits
    Pods linear-oblong or oblanceolate, 3–4 cm. long, 8–11 mm. wide, compressed, stipitate, aristate, slightly constricted between the seeds, usually longitudinally ribbed, minutely puberulous.

    Seeds ± 4, dark reddish-brown, subglobose, compressed, longest dimension 4 mm., shorter dimension 3·5 mm., 2·5 mm. thick.
