- Perennial, ± woody below, diffusely branched from the base, up to 30 cm high
- Leaves
- Leaf-rhachis up to 17 mm long including a petiole of up to 10 mm

- Leaflets 3–5, opposite, obovate or oblanceolate, up to 15 x 6 mm, downcurved at the apex, appressed silvery strigose, particularly beneath
