Perennial, ± woody below, diffusely branched from the base, up to 30 cm high
Leaves
Leaf-rhachis up to 17 mm long including a petiole of up to 10 mm
Leaflets
Leaflets 3–5, opposite, obovate or oblanceolate, up to 15 x 6 mm, downcurved at the apex, appressed silvery strigose, particularly beneath
Inflorescences
Racemes dense, almost sessile, shorter than subtending leaf
Calyx
Calyx up to 4 mm long, deeply divided, silvery

Stamens c. 4.5 mm long
