Habit
Erect annual from a taproot, up to 70 cm. tall; branches strigulose.
Leaves
Stipules setaceous, glabrescent, up to 3 mm. long; rhachis thinly strigose, up to 27 mm. long, including a petiole up to 5 mm., prolonged 1–2 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; stipellae filiform, ± 1 mm. long; leaflets 3–9, elliptic or cuneate-oblong, up to 15 mm. long and 6 mm. wide, glabrous above, sparsely strigose beneath.
Inflorescences
Racemes 1–3-flowered, the peduncles glabrous, 5–15 mm. long.
Calyx
Calyx strigulose, ± 1.5 mm. long; lobes triangular, rather longer than the tube.
Corolla
Corolla strigulose outside.
Stamens
Stamens ± 5 mm. long.
Fruits
Pod 13–18 mm. long, ± 1.2 mm. wide and 0.8 mm. thick, glabrous or with a few appressed hairs, 6–10-seeded; endocarp spotted.
Habitat
Thin vegetation on laterite; 1100 m.; rainfall 1300–1400 mm.
