Habit
A spreading strigose herb, probably perennial, with branches up to 25 cm. long.
Leaves
Leaves pinnately 3-foliolate; stipules ± linear, up to 8 mm. long; petiole ± 2 cm. long; rhachis 5–7 mm. long; leaflets elliptic-oblong, obtuse, up to 24 mm. long and 12 mm. wide.
Inflorescences
Racemes many-flowered, up to 10 cm. long, including a peduncle up to 4 cm. long.
Calyx
Calyx deeply divided, less than half as long as the 4 mm. long stamens.
Corolla
Corolla dull yellow, the standard rather persistent, strigose outside, ± 5 mm. long.
Fruits
Pod straight, acute, with a continuous lateral ridge, ± 15–18 mm. long, 2.4 mm. wide, stiffly pilose, ± 5-seeded.
