Note
In the original description the ovary of I. kelleri was erroneously said to be glabrous. Gillett (1958, 1971), who did not see the type, suggested that it might be conspecific with I. dauensis. The shrubby habit, densely white-strigose branchlets and short subsessile racemes of I. kelleri are distinctive, however.

Calyx 1.5–2 mm long; lobes narrowly lanceolate, longer than tube

Standard narrow, 4.5–5.5 mm long, strigose outside, persistent

Stamens 3.5–4.5 mm long
Fruits
Pod spreading or somewhat reflexed, 13–22 x 2.5 mm, dorsiventrally flattened, strigose, 7–9-seeded.
