Habit
Woody white-pilose perennial shrublet about 65 cm. tall.
Leaves
Leaves usually more or less crowded on short branchlets; stipules persistent, brownish, ± 2 mm. wide at the base and 6 mm. long; leaf-rhachis up to 14 mm. long, including a 4 mm. petiole; stipellae filiform, often up to 2 mm. long; leaflets 5–9, oblong-elliptic or obovate, up to 9 mm. long and 4 mm. wide.
Inflorescences
Racemes 3–12-flowered, 10–20 mm. long, including a 2–3 mm. long peduncle; bracts lanceolate, up to 6 mm. long.
Calyx
Calyx ± 3 mm. long.
Corolla
Corolla white pubescent outside.
Stamens
Stamens 5.5 mm. long.
Ovary
Ovary silky, ± 11-ovulate.
Habitat
Roadsides and grassland; 1470 m.; rainfall 800 mm.
