- Slender hairy annual with trailing branches from a short erect main stem; leaflets 3, deeply divided into 3–5 narrow lobes; flowers in pedunculate short racemes, yellow, 5–10 mm long; pods c. 30 x 4 mm, cylindrical, brown, with short stiff hairs; seeds rectangular, 5 mm long, with a white, linear hilum.
