    Habit
    Liane with branchlets glabrous and verrucose with lenticels.
    Leaves
    Leaves with sparsely pubescent petioles 0.5–4 cm. long; blade broadly ovate-triangular, cordate at base, acuminate at apex, 3–5 cm. long and wide, pale green; basal nerves 5–7, palmate, sometimes puberulous beneath.

    Male inflorescences 5–12 cm. long; pedicels 2–3 mm. long. Male flowers with ovate-triangular outer sepals 1.2–1.5 mm. long and 0.4–0.8 mm. wide, inner sepals 2.5–4 mm. long, 1.8–2.8 mm. wide; petals subequal, 2–3 mm. long, 1.2–1.8 mm. wide; stamens 6, free, 2.5–3 mm. long.
