Leaves sessile, obovate, to 20 × 7 cm., base tapering, apex obtuse, margin entire or minutely toothed towards the apex, midrib keeled beneath, glabrous or pubescent on the margin and midrib beneath when young.

Inflorescence lax, in pseudumbels of 2–5 cymes on glabrous peduncles to 5.5 cm. long; cymes 2–3-forked, with pubescent branches to 1.5 cm. long; bracts subquadrate, ± 2.5 × 3 mm., dentate, pubescent.
