    Habit
    Slender terrestrial herb 9–21 cm tall.
    Leaves
    Leaves 2–3, alternate, 2–4.5 × 1.5–3 cm, ovate, clasping stem at base.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescence 1–6-flowered, usually 2-flowered.
    Flowers
    Flowers white or greenish-white, sometimes veined and tipped with wine-red.
    Ovary
    Ovary 8–10 mm long.
    Bracts
    Bracts leaf-like, 13–15 × 5–7 mm.
    Calyx
    Lateral sepals spreading, 3–4 × 2 mm, obliquely ovate-oblong, acuminate, producing a short, broadly conical sac-like spur above the middle. Dorsal sepal 3–6 mm long, forming a saccate hood with the petals.
    Corolla
    Petals 3–6 mm long, obliquely falcate-ovate, acute.
    Labellum
    Lip narrowly unguiculate; limb reflexed with 2 short, diverging lobes; appendage broadly oblong, obtuse, papillose, longer than the limb.
    Column
    Column short; rostellum broadly rounded, obtuse, concave; arms 1 mm long, cartilaginous, twisted.
