Morphology General Habit
Stem slender, 1–1.5 mm. thick, up to 10 cm. long (rarely up to 20 cm.), with numerous persistent leaf-bases.

Leaves 3–7; petiole slender, 12–50 mm. long, densely pubescent; lamina ovate or oblong-ovate, up to 45 × 30 mm., sparsely pubescent on both surfaces, acute, basally cordate, coarsely double-dentate.
