- Habit
- Perennial herb with erect stems 1.5–5 dm. tall, glabrous, simple or branched low down.
- Leaves
- Leaves short, 1.5–6 cm. in total length (including petiole), bipinnate; leaflets elliptic to oblate, often trilobed, apices of lobes more or less rounded and very slightly apiculate, bases slightly cuneate to truncate.
- Inflorescences
- Inflorescences few-flowered, in young state compact, pedicels in infructescence scarcely elongated and filiform.
- Calyx
- Sepals 8 mm. long, white on inside, rose-coloured on outside.
- Stamens
- Stamens about 15; anther thecae 2.3 mm. long, prolongation of connective up to 0.2 mm. long.
- Carpels
- Carpels 10–14; stigma 1.5 mm. long at anthesis, curved or curled.
- Fruits
- Achenes sessile, without accrescent stipes.
- Habitat
- Rocky places in wooded grassland, 1800–2200 m.

- Leaves 1.5–6 cm. in length (including petiole), bipinnate; leaflets elliptic to oblate, often trilobed, apices of lobes rounded and slightly apiculate, base cuneate to truncate.

- Inflorescence few-flowered, pedicels not greatly elongated in infructescence.

- Sepals 8 mm. long, white inside, pink outside.

- Stamens about 15, anther-thecae 1.7–2.3 mm. long, prolongation of connective up to 0.2 mm. long.
