    Relatively small dense crown of deep green glossy leaves

    Slash reddish with fine white lines, exuding dark orange sap

    Fruits
    Fruits brown, heavy, pendulous, evidently taking several years to mature as the twigs on which they are borne become woody and up to 2·5 cm. diam.
