Morphology General Habit
Shrublet c. 20 cm. high, with dark grey fissured glabrescent spreading branches and somewhat angular puberulous branchlets.

Petiole 5–8 mm. long, dorsally convex, canaliculate and winged at the apex above, puberulous only in the groove.

Leaflets concolorous, pale green (when dried), small, the median one 1·5–3 × 0·8–1·5 cm., obovate, rounded or truncate at the top, shallowly crenate in the upper half, entire in the lower half, contracted to a cuneate base, subcoriaceous, glabrous; midrib prominulous above, rather prominent below, lateral nerves very slender, prominulous on both surfaces; venation inconspicuous.
