    Habit
    Shrub 2.5–4.5 m. tall; stems covered with grey bark, glabrous or pubescent.
    Leaves
    Leaf-blades brownish when dry, elliptic or sometimes narrowly elliptic, 1.7–6 cm. long, 0.7–2.5 cm. wide, acute to obtuse at apex, acute and often unequal at base, glabrous or sometimes pubescent beneath; lateral nerves in 4(–5) main pairs; tertiary nerves always obscure; domatia absent or obscure; petiole 2–3 mm. long; stipules triangular at base, linear above, 0.4–1 cm. long, glabrous or pubescent outside.
    Flowers
    Flowers 5-merous. Functionally ♀ flowers solitary; pedicels 4–6 mm. long; calyx-tube 1.5 mm. long; lobes linear to somewhat spathulate, 0.75–1.5 mm. long; anthers and stigmatic knob not known. Functionally ♂ flowers borne in sessile umbels of 1–6 flowers; pedicels 2–5 mm. long, glabrous or pubescent; calyx-tube reduced, glabrous or pubescent; limb lobed almost to base with short subulate lobes from a triangular base, up to 0.5 mm. long; corolla white; tube ± 1 mm. long, with a ring of deflexed hairs at throat inside; lobes triangular-ovate, 1.25 mm. long, 1 mm. wide at base, acute, and somewhat thickened towards apex; anthers almost sessile, 0.5 mm. long; style slightly shorter than corolla-tube; stigmatic knob ± 0.25 mm. long and wide.

    Bushland to dry forest; 1450–1500 m.
