    Habit
    Stems numerous, prostrate, radiating from a slender branched perennial rootstock, forming mats, 10–30 cm long, slender, pubescent.
    Leaves
    Leaves 3-foliolate, shortly petiolate; leaflets 4–8 × 2–5 mm, obovate, slightly emarginate, minutely mucronate, pubescent beneath; stipules single at a node, 1–3 mm long, almost linear to very narrowly elliptic-oblong.
    Flowers
    Flowers 1–3 terminal and leaf-opposed, mostly at the ends of rather short shoots; bracts at the base of the pedicel or up to halfway up on longer pedicels, 1 mm long, shorter than the pedicel, linear; pedicels 2–9 mm long; bracteoles absent.
    Calyx
    Calyx 4–5 mm long, pubescent; upper and lateral lobes joined higher, 1–2 mm long, narrowly triangular-subulate.
    Corolla
    Standard bright yellow, as long as the keel, pubescent medially outside; keel 7–8 mm long, shortly rounded at the tip, glabrous or pubescent towards the apex outside.
    Fruits
    Pods 7–12 × 3–4 mm, narrowly oblong-obovate, glabrous except along upper suture and near apex.
    Seeds
    Seeds 1–1.5 mm long, oblique-cordiform.
