Spreading or erect annual up to 1 m. tall, the branches sparsely appressed pilose or glabrescent.

Stipules linear-subulate, 3–4 mm. long; rhachis up to 16 mm. long, including a petiole of 1–4 mm., prolonged 1–2 mm. beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets 5–9, oblong-oblanceolate, up to 14 mm. long and 4 mm. wide, appressed pilose above, strigose beneath.
