Distribution
Native from India and Pakistan.  Cultivated in many countries and sometimes naturalized (southern Asia, Mauritius, Indonesia and West Indies).  One specimen seen from the Flora Zambesiaca area, Brummitt & Banda 9881 from Malawi, could be naturalize
