    Habit
    Subshrubby climber; stems drying brown, terete, striate, becoming somewhat woody, glabrous; tendrils bifid or simple.
    Leaves
    Leaves ovate to oblong, 2–7(–10.5) cm. long, 0.5–4(–5.5) cm. wide, acuminate at the apex, rounded to truncate at the base, remotely serrate with very narrow teeth, glabrous; petiole 0.6–3.5 cm. long; stipules ovate to oblong, 2.5 mm. long, glabrous.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescences compound cymes of umbelliform cymules, 2–6 cm. long, few-flowered, glabrous; peduncles 1.5–4 cm. long; pedicels 6 mm. long, glabrous, lengthening to 1–1.5 cm. long.
    Buds
    Flower-buds yellow-green at tips, ovoid, rounded at the apex, glabrous.
    Calyx
    Calyx cupuliform, 2 mm. wide, glabrous.
    Corolla
    Petals white to yellow, ovate, 2 mm. long, glabrous.
    Fruits
    Fruits ellipsoid, 1 cm. long, 5 mm. wide (immature).
    Habitat
    Forest, bushland, rocky valley with scattered trees and shrubs; 350–900 m.
