    Habit
    Similar to C. arcuata but bracts leaf-like, lanceolate to linear-elliptic, narrowed at both ends, 5–8 mm long, pedicels 2–4 mm long, calyx 6–8 mm long with broad, ovate lobes 3–5 times as long as the tube and generally thinly pubescent.
    Fruits
    The pod is not known but the ovary is hairy only on the upper side and 8-ovulate.
