Morphology General Habit
Woody shrub 30–40 cm. high, with spreading branches puberulous when young.

Leaves alternate or fasciculate on much abbreviated branchlets, sessile, obovate to oblanceolate, to 4.5 × 1 cm., base cuneate, apex obtuse, margin entire, lamina glabrous except for occasional hairs at the base; glandular stipules pointed.

Cymes reduced to solitary, terminal cyathia; bracts leaf-like, ± 2 × 4 mm.
