Morphology General Habit
Intricately branched woody puberulous shrublet to 30(–80) cm. high, from a subfleshy rootstock 1–2 cm. thick; terminal branchlets very numerous, thin and usually contracted, with leaves subfasciculate.

Leaves oblanceolate, to 18(–35) × 8 mm., base cuneate, apex obtuse, margin entire, lamina puberulous, glabrescent beneath; petiole 1 mm. long; glandular stipules minute, pointed.

Cymes terminal, reduced to a solitary sessile cyathium, surrounded by 2–5 obovate puberulous bracts ± 2.5 mm. long.
