    Habit
    Completely prostrate delicate much-branched annual, 6–25 cm. wide; stems and foliage strigose with white hairs.
    Leaves
    Leaves elliptic to narrowly elliptic-oblong, 0.5–1.7 cm. long, 2–3 mm. wide, acute.
    Inflorescences
    Inflorescences 0.5–1.5 cm. long, mostly short.
    Calyx
    Sepals lanceolate, 2–3.5 mm. long, 0.5–1.5 mm. wide.
    Corolla
    Corolla white, 2.5–3 mm. long, the tube ± 1 mm. long and limb ± 2.5–3 mm. wide.
    Style
    Style and stigma as in H. strigosum.
    Fruits
    Nutlets ovoid-segment-shaped, orange-brown turning black, 1.2 mm. long, 1 mm. wide, with pits on the contiguous flat faces, with very short hairs on curved outer face.
    Habitat
    Acacia, Commiphora, Delonix bushland or open woodland on red sand; 220–420 m.
