- Much-branched woody shrub to 60 cm. high; young branches puberulous.

- Leaves puberulous, subsessile, alternate, obovate, to 1.5 × 1.3 cm., base rounded, apex rounded to emarginate, margin entire, ± undulate; petiole to 2 mm. long; glandular stipules minute, sharply pointed.

- Cymes terminal, of solitary cyathia on peduncles 1.5 mm. long; bracts ± opposite, a little smaller than the leaves.
