Morphology General Habit
Annual. Culms erect, or geniculately ascending; 20-40 cm long; 4-5 -noded. Culm-internodes retrorsely scabrous. Leaf-sheaths smooth, or papillose; glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 1-3 mm long; lacerate; obtuse. Leaf-blades conduplicate; 1-5 cm long; 0.2-2 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scaberulous.
