Erect shrublet or perennial herb; branchlets subpatent-stellate-setulose.

Leaf-lamina up to 3 × 2·5 cm. (and probably larger), ovate, stellate-setulose above, stellate-hispidulous below, apex acute, margin rather coarsely serrate (for the size of the lamina), base obtuse to truncate 5-nerved; petiole up to 11 mm. long; stipules 4 mm. long.
