Morphology General Habit
Decumbent, prostrate or prostrate-ascending annual, sparingly branched from base, occasionally rooting at lower nodes; branches up to 40 cm. long, slender, subquadrangular, minutely pubescent to subglabrous.

Leaves (14)23–32 x (7)11–22 mm., opposite, broadly ovate, acute to subobtuse, somewhat cuneate at base, serrulate, sparsely short pubescent especially on major nerves beneath, petiolate.
