Morphology General Habit
Tree to 10 m. or so, sometimes with spines 2.5–5 cm. long, shortly hairy.

Leaves digitately trifoliolate, alternate; leaflets elliptic-ovate, 4–13.5 cm. long, obtusely acuminate.
