Leaves ovate, broadly elliptic or oblong, 1.5–7 cm long, 1.3–4 cm wide, broadly obtuse to rounded at the apex, truncate to slightly cordate or asymmetric at the base, margin clearly serrate to crenate-serrate, sparsely stellate-hairy above, densely whitish stellate-pubescent beneath, the veins slightly browner; petiole 2–6 mm long, densely stellate-pubescent; stipules elliptic to subulate, 5–7 mm long.
