Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms decumbent; 20-30 cm long; 3 -noded. Leaf-sheaths longer than adjacent culm internode; striately veined; scaberulous. Ligule a ciliolate membrane; 5-6 mm long; pubescent on abaxial surface; erose; truncate. Leaf-blades flat, or conduplicate; 5-8 cm long; 1-2 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scaberulous; rough on both sides. Leaf-blade apex abruptly acute; callose.
