Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose. Culms erect; robust; 50-60 cm long; 3 -noded. Culm-internodes scaberulous. Culm-nodes glabrous. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 2-5 mm long; lacerate; obtuse. Leaf-blades flat, or involute; 4-15 cm long; 1.5-4 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scabrous. Leaf-blade margins scabrous. Leaf-blade apex acuminate.
