Morphology Stem
Persistent stems with 9–11 ribs, scale-leaves with free part 1.5–2.5 mm. long, 0.3–0.4 mm. wide, reflexed
Morphology Branches
Deciduous branchlets 0.6–0.9 mm. diameter, with 9 very prominent but closely-set ribs; free part of scale leaves 0.5–0.6 mm. long, 0.2–0.25 mm. wide, colour as C. cunninghamiana

♂ inflorescence 1.3–1.5 mm. in diameter, whorls close-set, flowers 8–9 per whorl, bracts coloured as leaves, free part 0.6–0.9 mm.
