Morphology General Habit
Scrambling shrub or climber; young branches rufous villous.

Leaves opposite; lamina obovate, up to 16 cm. long and 8 cm. wide, apex abruptlyacuminate, base rounded to subcordate, lightly pubescent beneath, becoming glabrescent, pellucid-punctate; lateral nerves 7–11 pairs, prominent; petiole 4–8 mm. long, pubescent.

Inflorescence of crowded axillary panicles up to 9 cm. long on peduncles 2–4 cm. long; rhachis rufous pubescent.

Secondary and riverine forest; 800 m.
