Ligule an eciliate membrane; 3-4 mm long; erose; truncate. Leaf-blades 8-12 cm long; 2-3.5 mm wide. Leaf-blade surface scaberulous; rough on both sides. Leaf-blade margins scabrous. Leaf-blade apex abruptly acute; hooded.
