Morphology General Habit
Perennial; caespitose; clumped densely. Culms erect; 40-80 cm long; 4-5 -noded. Culm-nodes glabrous. Leaf-sheaths 10-12 cm long; glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane. Leaf-blades erect; flat, or involute; 3-17 cm long; 1.5-3.5 mm wide; glaucous. Leaf-blade surface smooth, or scaberulous; rough abaxially; pubescent; hairy adaxially.
