Morphology General Habit
Annual, or perennial. Culms erect; 15-50 cm long; 2-5 -noded. Leaf-sheaths glabrous on surface. Ligule an eciliate membrane; 1 mm long; truncate. Leaf-blades flat, or convolute; 5-10 cm long; 1-3 mm wide.
