Recognition
Useful characters for Finschia are the narrow, actinomorphic flowers and the presence of an intramarginal vein formed by the secondary veins looping and joining near the margin. In addition, the inflorescence and flowers can be entirely bright yellow to yellow-orange, and the style is sometimes excentric in mature fruits.
